This is a small article I due own interest written about Eurocop, and an interview. Both old fans and those who never heard of them would appreciate it.

Eurocop is at once obscure and popular humor group consisting mainly of a pair of comedic geniuses, "Sadulisten" and "Bubba", which since 2004 directly sent very creative, imaginative and unusual prank calls and around skits and talk over the Internet under the name "Eurocop Radio , "later shortened to just" Eurocop "when the radio is only a part of everything they do. At its peak, they had incredibly many listeners.

Often - if not always - have each transmission had a special theme, sometimes with alternative names such as "Bolivia Radio", and occasionally, the secondary characters have taken over completely and sent their "own" programs. It may sound macabre and schizophrenic, but with so genuinely funny people at the helm it works. Often it has been different long "specials" such as at the National Day, and on one occasion they sent continuously in the legendary 24-hour broadcast.

As with all good busringare has both an incredible ability to improvise, to think quickly and to keep from laughing. This, combined with the unique style and their politically incorrect to say the least, and self-mocking style, has created a variety of immortal prank calls which only allow themselves to be compared to the very top of busringare in Swedish history. The main characters are perfect together, where Bubba's hallmark was to be really "ugly in the mouth" and angering the victims in an unprecedented way, and where Sadulisten on an often little more subtle (but no less fun) way, driven by the people who almost always deserved to be fucked with. Phone listeners have submitted themselves by including chat during the broadcast, which has enabled extremely detailed and credible premise (but also frequent fejkare and bad things, which is hard to get away from in the case of direct transmission).

Also the fact that Eurocop stayed at so far makes them unique. Other good Swedish busringare who were "shady" (eg Leifi and Senile Call) held only for a very limited time, and it is very possible that their material / inspiration was over when they took off. Sadulisten & Bubba has proven time and again that they master the art to the fullest and have a lot of imagination and creativity, even though Bubba unfortunately for various reasons ended up involved in the ringing to end. Although one can understand why it feels undeniably a bit sad. Neither Sadulisten or Bubba alone can do what the duo did so well together, and the other half the members, we will not even talk about. I choose not to include them because they, in my opinion has nothing to themselves Eurocop to do.


In fact Eurocop more or less stopped what they once primarily involved in due a lot of problems with the law long and backward arm. Eg countless searches and harassment from the police and other authorities, with pesky lawsuits, fines and mendacious loathing hags, while they, like so many others throughout history and in the present, do not get near the appreciation they deserve (at least in my opinion), it seems finally to have become too much, and if not taken fatal for them, in any case forced a different direction. Transmission is now mostly private and only for members who donated and is part of a sort of internal community site. It is not without feeling a little sad that the "glory days" are over.

At the same time as there is lots to say about Eurocop it is also impossible to explain its greatness in words. One simply has to have heard many of their rings. Although they certainly are fun for first-time listeners, I would say that they are like a lot of other good art - much better / more fun when you have been with for a while and understand the context. Eurocop In other words, "deeper" than you might think, but this is a statement that is easy to misinterpret. It's only "on skej". Unfortunately, the majority of their fans, like those of eg Eddie, Svullo and South Park, annoying idiots who obviously do not understand to appreciate anything other than the most superficial layers jokes and "bad words". It never seems to go to get away. However, one should ignore them and not let them frustrate the greatness of these phenomena. If you want to turn it into something positive, one can even say that the EC "works on several levels."

There's something incredibly liberating in that instance hear a surtråkig PK pussy even yelled at and insulted in a brutal and yet so clever and fun way. Very few "victims" feel sorry for you because they often have such rotten personalities and are so vile. This of course not all, nor can every call out to be shitty or bad. Worth mentioning is that not a single call has been like the many unintelligent and boring kids who tried to do the same thing but as a total failure because they do not have "it", where they think it is just to call someone and start swearing and having itself. That is absolutely not the case. Anyone can not busringa and make it fun.

No matter what happens, and if Eurocop spend prank calls completely, they can be proud of a wealth of high-quality humor and hopefully continue with their other projects. Interview

It is mainly Sadulisten answering the questions, but Bubba tabs in with a comment a couple times. Conducted February 3, 2013.

How did the very first consignment and when it took place?

Oh my, I just have memories that I heard in January 2004, along with Bubba, a program that called itself Noneed Radio that broadcast prank calls. You could sit in the evenings and even nights and cuddle (Bubba lay on the couch and I in my bed so do not think we bögade) and listen to Noneed led by somebody little brat who was 14 years old and had been a mixer of its Mom and worst phone hybrid and all. It sounded anyway so it was good kvalla and he could t.om. play sound effects! He sat as and called a man named (name?) Inge Stylish and asked him his name and then Inge was crazy so the guy was asrädd. The day after the guy was sitting in his radio and played guitar and sang that Inge had owned the shit out of him or something, it was pretty fun and also self-deprecating.

It was somebody who call 'the Doffen von Snoffen with the program, a skånare that was pretty funny, do not remember everything. But then we also wanted to start doing så'nt there, me and Bubba. We used to start up small projects and make strange videos when we were young, when we were very young, we had empty another radio called "Radio Pervokris" (Pervokris was a character in a Python-Comic). Okay, there was no radio, but it was that Bubba was reading up a bit what had happened in the week and it was different corners with characters that we had at the time. We recorded it on a tape recorder, tape then, and I still have tapes from, yes, the mid 90's. I've always been interested in broadcast radio, when I was young (I'm asgammal) I was doing amateur, ie 27 MHz band when alone, and sat trycknissade and sent music by soldering somebody 3, 5-plug the microphone cable so I could ago plug it into the headphone jack on a tape recorder and play stuff for anyone who might listen to a radius of, well, what the hell, somebody mil, maybe.

So, yes, we wanted to start sending, I got Live365 was called and began. First transmission is not there and remember it either, but I remember that I had dry runs before we started with a good friend named Audi. He has been with since before the start and listened to when I sent out in January 2004 Svullo songs and snack, then only to him - busringde not even, but it came after a couple of regular broadcasts, I think.

We started the site in Bubbes site then (danfun.net / radio) and Ia 'up a test page and also had somethin newsletter that listeners could subscribe to in order to listen. First transmission, yes, it must have been nå'ti style snack and Bubba played music which he had brought with him in a backpack - a lot of CD's and so busringde I probably bit with, I guess. Well, I did think it. And then it turned out that nobody wanted to hear a lot of music - everyone wanted to hear more when we called, and so I did too. In subsequent broadcasts became more of that, and then it got rougher and rougher with, which I personally maybe, well, I have nothing against coarse joke but once you've started in that direction, so you can never go back how smart ringing man than doing or how "fun" as it gets without insults. Do the whole "you have run my car on the globe" was one of the first conversations where I scolded somebody random little golden man and you hear also that I sway to the voice! I'm not like that private, I just want to emphasize, I really have empathy and sympathy, but that's voices in my head that tells me that doers ... and listeners.

It was therefore to so and it was in January 2004 we started: almost ten years ago now.

Working on a book about EC, actually, where I have a lot of fun scanned documents from the cops and so, where do you see the fan.

What are your idols that may be relevant in this context? One can imagine that such Hassan, Svullo, Leifi and Senile Call inspired you?

Yes you can think and you can be right in. Svullo's a personal example that I really looked up to, prevailing humor piece then. He could take anything and on a dime just get a funny joke or just say anything in a fun way. He was funny! I personally do not think I'm funny, I've never given me the epithet "comedian" or something like Magnus Betnér and like that. Meneee yes, like all the ones where you lined up and advice call you just trying to be funny with the personality you have private, seasoned with a large dose of Sadulistens complete absence of barriers and logical thinking.

My grandfather, too, he was fine. He could sit and record a bunch of tapes in which he improvised stories where Alfie went around with his sports car and went to grandma and ate pancakes and ran into a mass that he just instantly improvised Fan one C90 cassette, just sat and talked incessantly . Ago we got the bands you were listening to before you fall asleep when you slept over. It's a bit of an idol, they, and I miss him. Aja, but enough about me.

Is Bubba and you brothers or family?

It does not matter really, but yes, we've always been together, we, and made fun and boring stuff.

(Partially answered above.) Could it be that you recorded skits on tape and such when you were younger? Have any or all characters followed for many years, even before the EC?

Band and "Movies" recorded on Video8 and things we have always done. But it was so much better then? No. characters followed by ... well, I've probably tried to run some old character in maybe one or two rings, but do not think it was that good. Odi was probably an old? Raymond Silver Beard, if I run it? Janoschlian? Is there a lot of boring but that might not been seen.

Where are actually the names "Eurocop", "Sadulisten" and "Bubba"?

"Bubba" come from seventh Friday the 13th movie [Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood] where a named Shepherd surname, mixed with Texas Chainsaw Massacre [Texas Chainsaw Massacre] where one named Bubba. Merge it so we get Bubba Shepherd. Bubba used the nick of Danfun from the beginning of 00, I think.

"Sadulisten" is just nonsense, unfortunately.

"Eurocop" is taken from the bonus material on a DVD with the film Maniac (1980) where there is an Italian trailer. In the end it was "Distributed by Eurocop films". Yes, we really liked and wanted too hot Eurocop, but then radio. Now we call ourselves just Eurocop of course we do really everything we do. I do not know it but the page was up a few days with headertexten "ride on the radio" or something, think it was Svullo who used to say so, but that was before somebody started listening so it does not count.

One gets easily the impression that you were the driving and Bubba mostly kept up with, often reluctantly, however, as a perfect companion. Is that so?

Yes, oja - I tend to be proactive and yell at Bubba him to do some-thing, now that he will upload new clips on YouTube. I have handled it as well as technical and Bubba has more running radio talk part only. You have to push the bubba and tell him to do things and it has probably been me who "burned" for the most, I have a feeling, yes, but I force not Bubbeh, I do not. Bubba've stopped calling now as but then he can help with other things like looking clips to upload and he also produces Bubba Shepherd Radio Show by herself. You must pull together and he has always done its bit to help in their own way.

When listening to the oldest ringing and transmissions that are left seem you are already very experienced. You started with the Eurocop around 2004, but did you use before busringa private? In this case, no such conversation recorded?

No, we were not experienced what it is now, deh. I had maybe made a couple of calls in the middle of -90 recorded on cassette tapes somethin somewhere and so we had done "Danbus" one year earlier than the EC-start in 2004, I think. Where you hear that I was quite nervous when I called, they höreh! So where am I now when I make calls private, so I'm totally socially maladjusted and no girl wants me, whatever that has to do with it. There is a call left from 1996, I think where I call a pizza baker and asks:

"Do you have a pizza with banana flavor?
"Jaaah ..."
"Have you?"
"Jaaah ..."
"YES! YES!"
"Va 'e're?"
"Jaaa, the 'eh' all I wanted to know. YES! YES!"

Fun, huh? '

Is there anything or any calls that you subsequently regret and felt that it went over the limit?

It is unnecessary to undo things you can not get undone and I'm on the verge of logical psychopath, that's for sure. But clearly I do not want anyone to be genuinely scared or sad when you call and skejar bit. I think it's because I myself am not so easily offended by me, that if I had received such a call, I just yawned and laid on omedelbums. But some care what a complete stranger mongofitta calls and says to them, and also think it is justified to police it all. Okay, that was the wrong example when I said I called Anders Eklund and one guy thought about it, but I can not regret for the premise that lay at hand, I did not in my heeelt morally wrong. I did not think I was talking with a twelve year old because he sounded like a girl and my brain connected wrong so I thought the kid was older than he was. Not talking shit with kids, perhaps the most that I called and said "tell mom that she e bajskerv" but it may well not normally funtad be sorry for, that their child is telling the truth?

Okay, so it was an old woman in the early EC I called and said that someone in her class - she was a teacher - had died, and then I took well back in the same second as I had said this when my hazelnut brain realized that the idiot could go it. Somethin like that. Then start some bellowing without direct cause and you get taken by surprise, not literally, but that someone in their family has died and I have no idea about it. You have to take a chance, damn it, otherwise you will never be able to make a jaw, after all, if you're going to be heeelt white as snow purely moral terms, I believe that I am sooo fucking bad really, but it is generally the case that people who know offended by what a heeelt unknown idiot calls and says weird things actually get himself to blame somebody in meaning and have a lot to deal with.

Who is Stu-Pot? A younger friend or just an early fan who happened to live nearby?

A friend of a relative. Stu ask if he could get in touch with us and come and watch somebody transmission and, well, nice. Stu greeted and then he started up the IRC channel that had a shitload of users - many hundreds many times. He was only sixteen damn sure when he came to study and now he is an old man, and I will soon be dead.

As any educated and thinking people who do not close their eyes to reality, you are strongly critical of mass immigration and the Swedish psych sick politicians. You mix humor with serious opinions in a way that can often be perceived as ambiguous, a stupid person would probably think that you are running with immigrant critics. I think of "National Party Racist" etc. Something to say about it?

Have always liked to joke about the PK-elves find ajabaja just because it's fun to "offend" their fragile personalities. NRP is not a joke without Tor and Johanna are for real, and it is Askul. Tor's based on Percy Brown Power who sent the Stockholm community radio and had a national party once that perhaps 2 pcs voted on. Check on YouTube: "Citizens' Party." Yes, it is fun to joke about serious things but it is not on a deep level, it's not so smart, it's just the skej. Is not politically involved or somebody struggle so but I'm more for it to be freedom of speech for all and not just for the masses, PK-mass, which is consistent with common PK morals and rules.

Is it that you, Sadulisten, has a background in producing radio professionally? And Bubba is working in the restaurant industry? I seem to have picked up the broadcasts.

No, no, no. As you can hear nothing about sound or technique really, it's the consumer gadgets we use and I would not meet me in a professional studio in a second.

[Bubba] I'm a real "Mistress Bug" and likes to cook. But I'm not working anymore in the restaurant business.

Bubba decided some time ago to never busringa, or if it only focused on air. Why did he take this decision? He said something about himself that he felt exploited by people who did not respect him.

He wrote on his blog that he is tired. Check the Danfun; think it stands there in late 2011.

[Bubba] The reason I did not busringer longer simply because I got tired of calling the same kind of things over and over again and I do not feel that I can give so much more than I have already made the prank call front.

(Partially answered above.) A tough question, but do you own that you are funny? (Many people who do good things are disgusting modest and believe that it is perceived ill to praise oneself, which may be true. Yet. I personally nothing strange or negative in that they think that you yourself are doing something fun / good. Rather, it would it is absurd to continue to do something you do not like without winning anything on it.)

Someone else once I listened to an old clip, has no recollection of the conversation and be surprised and can laugh at at my own ugly joke. But more than that, it is not, I do not see myself as a comedian, I'm not a comedian, I'm not funny. Sadulistenkaraktären might be fun sometime but well, no, clearly you do not sit and listen to his own shit.

In recent years, both of you seem to have gone down considerably in weight, despite your "image" as "two fetton". Obviously, it is positive from a health aspect, but it has happened before in history that someone who was fat and funny perceived as boring with changed personality after a weight loss. Do you have any comments regarding. it?

No, no - brain shrinkage and how it would make any difference when talking on the radio? The reason we chose the radio was that we are and were very obese and why we have masks in the video clips is primarily because I believe that I am a skitful cock eyed-eyes so I do not want you to have to see it. Sure, many want to see anyway and like self-harm and upload old photos of me, etc., but it's just skej. So no, it is not funny because you're fat and I never feel funny directly såatteee ...

There's been much harassment from the police and authorities who hates all the fun and good while turning a blind eye to all long criminal immigrants and corrupt politicians. Have Eurocop no future in prank calls, or will it be mostly skits and music? Can we expect to call the estimates continue but become extremely mjäkiga and watered down? Now has never been a point of pure insults, but you will understand that it is a different thing.

Future well-EC as long as somebody wants to listen to some-thing we've done, the 'e' no problem. It's not like it's Volvo or something that must be put down without EC will always remain as long as the clips are still there and somebody will listen. Ago I might not make as much and Bubba does not ring at all, but what the hell, you do not have to call all the time. We hold such on a new TBSG disc [The Bubba Shepherd group] with a lot of ugly music now and så'nt; does little Bubba Shepherd Show-skits. If you always run the same shit in the mouth and insults so tired man Bubba did. I can call some times when I feel like it and be pretty nasty somebody once but it is now a week ago when I received an invitation to the police interrogation, you start to doubt if you can call at all without being accused of some PK whore become offended by that one said somethin improperly.

What is the craziest / funniest thing that happened throughout the EC journey?

The craziest thing I think is that so many people involved in this joke project that we started out the ass. It was a fun surprise, and has gotten to know many through the journey that I now see as friends and family, deh, it's unbelievable. Ago it happened things in broadcasting and så'nt, I do not remember somethin extreme, actually. Funny, yes, Bubba was sitting at the computer and drop 'with their feet and so I had a power strip to the panel there with a switch that he (or maybe I was - do not remember) put his toe on so everything was black and "broadcast" stayed . Yes, fun? Ago, I had put a tape on that damn switch.

Once you called someone who seriously seem to believe to be dolphin. It is probably the most surreal I've heard, even the Holy Martha included, especially as you just commented it. Surely it can not just be for real? (I've seen their site, but it does not prove anything.)

That I do not know, there's a så'n association online - advice if it is serious or not, I do not know.

Once and for all: how was it with that Abdulla-neck all still harping about? Sure it was fake (of them) but that you knew about it? And in the follow-up neckline are two sides of the joke?

What I remember was a guy who was faking it, yes. He wrote on our forum afterwards and told me how it was. A good fejkare was it that gave us some publicity by being spread much. Recall that I got email from EC domain controller who barked at us to take down the neck of the devoured as much bandwidth as it had too much traffic. We directly linked ring estimates on the site then. Aja, but it was he who faked once you hear it if you listen when he says "hello" at the beginning. Raudung named listener who told me to "you, the 'e' fake ', and I do not listened to it as thoroughly - as I said, not listening to my stuff - said," What? NOOO ... " Ago, I listened, and sure enough. Ago there's the kid "clean" with and he liked us, did it not to fuck. But no, we do not play with the joke when somebody fakes so often so yeah, we got so owned, we.

Were they just mention Abdulla-ring estimates they only been on pretending from your perspective? (You can not know for sure if someone else faked.)

No calls I can come on spontaneously. I often say that "everything can be faked." You never know if the number you are calling is to the person as it appears in the hint and we do not have time to check, and it is not possible to check all the secret unlisted numbers either. We have never said that Abdulla and så'nt is truth, we just do stuff and lets listeners choose what they want lyssne on.
