Topic: I don't understand how spoiler alerts upset people so much sometimes.

Maybe I'm just a visual person, but whenever someone tells me something that's a spoiler alert, I don't feel like it's that bad because I haven't actually witnessed whatever they are talking about. Maybe that's just me.

I don't understand how 9gag comics upset people so much sometimes.
Maybe I'm just a visual person, but whenever someone sends me something that's a 9gag comic, I don't feel like it's that bad because I like the comic. Maybe that's just me.

Oh and that black eye photo did make me cry for 3 months straight for her of her safety. But now she has AIDS and I can't cure it.

They dont want you to spoil their brain washing session

@216,794 (A)
Because some stories/movies have twists at the end. Spoilers ruin that.

I know. They don't ruin it for me. That's what I was saying.

Some people like to be surprised. Are you still surprised at things after you hear a spoiler?
·Anonymous A (OP) — 13.6 years ago, 1 minute later, 1 hour after the original post[T] [B] #216,855
@previous (C)
Yes, because most of the time the actual presentation doesn't match my imagination of said spoilers. You could tell me that the monsters are actually the townspeople in The Village but that's not very descriptive nor does it take away any of the suspenseful moments of the film (shit example but you get the gist).

oic. I actually really liked the Village.

Yeah. As I said it may be because I am a very visual person but have an over-active imagination. Whenever I am spitballing concepts with people I tend to see things very differently from the other person in general.
As for The Village, I'm just not a big fan of Shamyalan (sp?) films. They sound good on paper but they seem to execute oddly. I'd rather read the novel if one existed. On that note, most novelizations of films usually end up terrible. The last one I read was Event Horizon but it was actually quite good because it included detailed descriptions of the 30 minutes of gore that was cut from the end result.

Maybe most other people arent that imaginative.
The film is based on an teen fiction book called "Running out of Time". It's fairly decent.

While I like horror, I don't think I could handle teen fiction lol.
