Where your sims are adventurers/heroes
you control their daily lives like Sims, eat play sleep but also learn skills training magic get drunk in the tavern etc
then you can send your sims to dungeon dwelling fighting monsters collecting loots finding treasures beating bosses finishing quests gaining fame
this way I could get more attached to the RPG character i played and feel the sims character could do sth more useful other than eat sleep fuck at the same

There's a game series Princess Maker. Only the 2nd one is in English, the rest only Japanese.

You get a daughter and raise her. Some people raise her to work in a sleazy bar. But I of course raise her as my ideals. Once she can fight monsters for money, she does that. No stressful shitty job. The daughter then becomes always one of three things:
1) Immortal Ruler of The Underworld --- if I don't donate enough to church. This is actually pretty successful, but she turns to a bitch and doesn't respect her dad.
2) A general --- if I don't get her artistic
3) A writer --- writes stories and is good because she adventured a lot.

it's just sending him/her out and wait and watch he/she come back either success or epic fail

I have a legal copy of Princess Maker 1-3 bundle and Princess Maker 5 torrented
1-2 have a bit of it, but not enough area to explore and no quests and shit
the latter in the Princess Maker series has the adventure bit wear thinner and thinner

Yeah but I don't think any are in English so I guess you speak Japanese. I tried learning that for a bit but got lazy and started learning German and then poked around on it.

Nobody said The Sims Medieval was a good RPG.
And now that I think it about it. It might be the closest thing to a Sims RPG since without what little Sims elements there are.
A "Sims" RPG game might just be like any regular RPG game.

Lack of classic RPG elements like HP/MP and attributes, and utter lack of REAL CONTROL on adventuring, and not to mention its loss of building options which all other Sims have, I could never call that crap a good RPG, nor a good Sims
