Tripfags.com's CEO and chief editor, Michael Horowitz, has received various death threats via phone and email since the article was published in late March this year. In fear of his life, we have been silent about it until now.
It all started just hours after the article was published and went viral around the web. It received international attention. Horowitz was sent a threatening, yet subtle email from Poole demanding its removal.

Horowitz, a firm believer in the values of freedom of speech and press, did not give in. He was prepared to take this case all the way to court. The people had a right to know and Horowitz knew it was his duty to tell them. Shortly before, a tip was submitted to Tripfags.com informing us that any mention of our website was now blocked from being posted on 4chan.

This isn't the first time moot has tried to cripple sites he doesn't like. He introduced a one-day autoban for posters mentioning Horowitz's other creation, 4chon.net, back in January 2011. It still exists today.
It is clear to us and it should now be clear to you that Christopher Poole, despite his claims, does not care at all about free speech. In fact, he is committed to hiding the truth and regularly hands out bans to those whom he has disagreements with. He is mentally unstable and needs to be impeached immediately.
