EXCEPT for New Orleans where the food and music ROCK. They know how to party.
Two week business trip and I needed a layover weekend with an international airport for the next leg of my trip. I was on my way to Atlanta Ga and sitting across from a flight attendant. She heard me grumble about one more weekend in Atlanta and she asked me why I was going there. She said you have carry on? I said YES - She said don't get off and stay for the next city and that city was New Orleans. Changed my life and I am not kidding. Discovered Music I had never even heard of. Later learned to swing dance to Cajun and the food the food. Ended up in a ton of relationships and friendships for life.
From that point on 90% of my GF's were from the dance community. Healthy people truly healthy and dancing is a major part of all that.

Yea and I miss the many company paid trips. Globalstar one of my key clients relocated to just outside NOLA and I could go for free - However that ends up costly re the deals they sucker me into while there, so no more free trips for me. Once had a Soft shell Crab that was so huge no plate was large enough to contain it. They had to lay out a towel to contain the rest. Of course NO free re expense account, Now that I own my own biz No longer free but I do get to deduct it from taxes.
