Americans: "The west doesn’t believe in free speech anymore. Just think, you can get arrested for making internet posts in the UK! It’s a good thing Russia is a country that protects absolute freedom of speech."

Russia also has one party consent laws so even though it’s illegal to protest "in public" it’s not illegal to record what you do in private without informing you. Great country!
