Topic: Eircode

I literally just found out about this. Every single building in Ireland has a RANDOM code assigned to it, so you can just use the Eircode to mail something to an address in Ireland and you don’t have to put the address on the letter. You can just put the random code associated with the address on it.
So instead of writing this:
"Dublin City Council
Lord Mayor's Office
Mansion House
Dawson Street
Dublin 2
D02 AF30"
You can just write: "D02 AF30" and it will still get there!
I feel like America should do this. Imagine if you didn’t have to write out an address and you could just use a 7 digit code to send a package or a letter anywhere in the United States?

Nah, postal workers work hard enough. I don't want them checking databases all day.

We owe it to them to not treat them like Amazon workers though :'(
