Is it a coincidence or is there a reason that clocks say it's 4:20 when it's about 40 minutes to 5? It's almost like the inventors of the clock were trying to hint at something and remind us to smoke weed.

I thought that the numbering system the world uses was an Arabic adaptation of Indic numerals which gained prominence first in the Iberian peninsula. Just like the syllabary above that says "Fox is my name" was an adaption inspired by the singing letters of eastern Europe, everyone stands on someone else's shoulders. I prefer the term 'contribution' over invention, even though native speakers could learn as much from the syllabary in two weeks than English students could learn in two years so that was pretty clever since Roman letters didn't fit the language.
