Any ways to get around this? I tried flashlights, desk lamps, light up toys, etc and they don’t like those either and they make me turn them off 😡😡😡

I got a bud that's the same way. I've never seen him turn on the main lights in the house - I use the flashlight on my phone to climb the stairs. That $1.45 extra on the bill at the end of the month ain't gonna sink ya!
