We had a Chinese exchange student many years ago. He thought our bacon was pre-cooked and tried to make a cold sandwich with it. He survived, but damn.

You actually can buy pre cooked bacon in the United States though. I have some in my fridge right now.

I too am a disciple of snot texture bacon. I cook bacon for everyone else then boil mine in the grease from everyone else's bacon. I am not in the best of health.
