yeah, before they started they were talking about the whole thing for hours, and at one point they mentioned they had paramedics at the bottom of the canyon. i guess in case he fell, which i thought was silly he'd die instantly, but, i guess necessary on some level. ended up he started bouncing because of vibrations and he had to take a knee for a moment, then when he stood back up the wind got him and he hit the edge of his foot, slipped, tried to fall on his ass and grab the wire, but ended up somersaulting over it and fell like 1500 feet or something nuts like that.
there wasn't much the paramedics could do.

yeah, it was awesome. the camera tracked him all the way down. there was even a little poof of dust where he landed.
tragic accident for his family, he left behind a wife and three young kids, but awesome none the less.
OH YEAH! and he was mic'd, so you could hear him praying and telling his wife and kids that he loved them as he fell all the way down.
