I needed an HTMI cable to connect my PC into my TV. Found one in a shop for £23 for 1.5 meters then later that day found one on amazon for £2 at 1.8 meters.

HDMI gives you a lower-quality output than VGA unless you use the standard 1080/720 resolution. If your TV has a DVI port, I'd recommend investing in a DVI cable instead.
