I have to watch a disney movie

what is with this semester? so much pop culture I never wanted to be involved in. read and watched hunger games, but I skipped the movie n ignored the book
then we had to watch n read fight club
now ... Tangled.

Tangled is a good movie, so is Fight Club for very different reasons. I wasn't big fan of Hunger Games, I guess it's supposed to be a good social commentary like a modern Brave New World or 1984, but both of those are far better reads. As a Freshmen I read Ender's game, and that was complete garbage.

I didnt care for hunger games whatsoever - its the dialogue of a teenage girl, lol
fight club movie sucked but the book was incredible...the difference in ending is what did it
1984 is a great book

Yeah, I guess. I've never heard anyone say they thought Fight Club flat out sucked. To each their own I guess.

How can you hate Disney? Their films are brilliant, not always, but at least a lot of the time. 90 percent of my favorite cartoons are Disney.

They're obviously grooming you to be a good consumer so you can be a contributing member of society by making mindless purchases and zoning out to Disney approved propaganda is a great way to ignore anything going on in the world. It's good for America. Although you should be forewarned that some treacherous wing-nuts will try and recruit you for their militant anti-American terrorist cells. It's not uncommon for them to try and recruit on college campuses where minds are young and impressionable.

You should take some classes in radical criminology so you'll be able to spot those dirty America haters and report them to your local overseer when you suspect an indiviual or group of less than patriotic behavior. Because wanting change means you hate America. Trust me on this.
