I never discuss my interests really with him. As far as religion goes I told him I'm a buddhist (which isn't far from the truth). We talk shit about quantum mechanics, our various life experiences, mind fuckery, social problems (in society, not personal), and then he gives me healthy doses of benzos when I really want stims. I hate to dr shop and the guy is cool and legitimately wants to help. He knows I'm an ex addict but we're both happy to pretend I'm not. A good chunk of the people at local NA meetings and patients in rehab are medical professionals. Obviously he knows there's a conflict of interest when an insomniac wants stims.
It's strange for 90% of the drugs I use to be legal and prescribed.
Our initial meeting was amusing anyway, it was more of an interrogation (albeit a very friendly one), the tricks used to try and elicit information could've came straight out of a criminology textbook.

I'm being honest but I'm withholding information as well. Even when I told him I was a Buddhist I told him I was also into Thelema (the two kind of go hand in hand) however he asked about it and I told him it was an offshoot of "western hermeticism" which means fuckall to most people.
I haven't admitted to self-medicating but he had me pegged. When I got my first script for klonopin he started to say "don't abuse it" but caught himself
and said "don't ab-" and then went off on a tangent and we BS'd for a few more seconds. I'd like to confess all my sins but at what cost?
For now I have my little black angels who I can confess my sins too and she lends me strength when I'm feeling at my lowest. She's not my wife but we've known each other for most of our lives and are both "heathen" sadomasochists from broken homes. She self medicated too but not on the same level and w/ different drugs. I was trying to destroy myself towards the end whereas she just wanted a break from reality.
