Well depending on what state your in, your record, and your age... OC spray is probably the easiest thing you can do for yourself. Self defense workshops for women are great too if you've never been to one.

I believe in carrying a gun, especially for women.

I bought my wife a g26 for her first pistol and she has a little pink grip on it and loves it. I feel better knowing she has it when I'm not around.

I've sent her through a few different firearms training courses specifically for women and she's not they bad of a shot. Although we're looking for something a little smaller for her next gun.

My wife wasnt either intially. She hated guns. There is a lot of bad journalism when it comes to guns though and a lot of skewed statistics on gun related deaths. A good book to read that touches on the subject is "The Slaves Shall Serve: Meditations on Liberty". Cars are infinitely more dangerous than guns but people don't think of them as being weaponized heaps of metal.

If you're a Canuck you're S.O.L. anyway and in that case I suggest mace brand OC spray guns or fox OC spray. Take a basic self defense course for women too and don't give out personal info to creepers like Bert and use a little common sense and you'll be OK though.

This show was bigger than the one in PC anyway but apart from a few overpriced oddities it was a disappointment.

Boxes of .22lr (325rd) were going for $80/ea. lol. We just bought like 6 cases of those for less than a hundred bucks a couple weeks ago.

There were no good deals at this show except I found the Chiappa Rhino I wanted but I didn't pull the trigger on it. I'm ok w/ my current carry but it's hard to justify spending the money on it. I'll wait until I sale one or two.

Also 325rd boxes of .22lr for only $80.00. All the ammo was still crazy inflated.
