Topic: 101 best written TV shows of all time, as voted by the American Writers Guild

Predictably US-centric, but still a decent list. Can't argue with the number 1, it's a masterpiece of writing. The Office and Fawlty Towers should be much higher. The Golden Girls should be nowhere to be seen. The Simpsons at 12 is controversial. Seasons 2-9 are some of the best TV ever written, everything beyond is largely crap. Red Dwarf should be on the list and Six Feet Under should be in the top 10. South Park should be higher, as should anything Joss Wheedon has been a part of.

Just my opinions. Yours?

I don't understand how Law & Order is so low on this list. So many of these choices are completely off.

All in all looks ok to me.

Writers a pros making that list.

I am still amazed at how often Seinfeld packed 4 separate stories all in one episode of 22 mins.
