Is that the kind of 'activity' you want? Simply having a shitload of posts of the same pictures over and over doesn't equal activity; at least that's what I'd argue, it's your board and the decision ultimately is yours, if you're happy with it then fair enough.

Anothertalk (another illegal clone) had a link in the top right which led to a new page named GHOUL2. The admin of anothertalk figered he would get more traffic from the Matt Miller crowd or w/e. It was basically another BBS forum, it could have been just a link to another site the admin set up. I'm sure FuckAlms or Fuchs cold explain it better.
You could have Tinychan as it is now and Tinychan2 as a more serious discussion site with a new rule set where the mods strictly enforce the rules. That would mean people can still shitpost and then switch to real talk when they needed. Say what you like about The Doctor but he does follow the rules. If it cost extra to set up or took time out of your day I would be happy to throw some money your way.
