James Wasserman wrote an excellent essay on the way media has skewed statistics on gun violence in his "The Slaves Shall Serve: Meditations on liberty". I might post it in the near future since I believe it's interesting reading regardless of which side of the fence you're on. I usually avoid the gun debate nonsense just because most people aren't even willing to entertain an argument and I don't really care what they believe in the first place. Anyway I'll try and post it soon just for the sake of it.

I was fortunate in that I needed only to head into the boonies to keep a low profile. Still I managed to keep a couple lines of communication open. This holiday gave me an opportunity to mingle with the common man without fear of being spotted or harassed by those that would thwart the resistance. Still we must remain ever vigilant.
Regardless I'm glad you're well comrade and trust his infernal majesty will be pleased with our work.
