Topic: Postmortem wonders why some people react to him like this.

So, I've noticed a running pattern or theme in my life, I'm not really sure what to call it, but this is basically it: Most people are pretty neutral about my existence, maybe they like me enough to be my friend, maybe they dislike me enough to intentionally avoid me, but most people are just kind of "Oh yeah, that guy, he's alright." towards me. However, usually there's one individual who is head over heels in love with me, and infatuated with everything that I do. Cupcake, obviously, is the most recent example of this phenomenon in my life. Unfortunately 99 percent of the time I can not stand this person. Sure, I will exploit them for personal gain like any rational minded person would do, but I do not really return any of their adoration or love. Although, and this may be seen as something in bad taste, I say that I do. Lexi was the first person I actually felt real love for, or at least how I define love. Anyway, the bit about me loving Lexi isn't really the point. The point is I have one person who is infatuated with me, and then 9 times out of 10 they eventually despise my very existence or at least take extra care to avoid me like I'm a danger of some kind. People go from "You're the most amazing person I've ever met" to "I hate you, you're a fucking sociopath" or something similar, it usually takes about a year, maybe a little more or less. Sometimes they are upstanding citizens and just walk away, and never look back, and sometimes I back out before they get to hating me, which usually triggers a bit of resentment towards me. Okay, so, 3rd party that doesn't particularly like me. What is it that makes a small minority of people obsessed with me then eventually hate my very being? What am I doing right initially, and then what am I inevitably doing wrong?Maybe in order to like me you have to be crazy, and crazy isn't known for its stability.

That'll account for what you're inevitably doing wrong, fuck knows what you're doing right at the start though. To be honest you sound like a complete ass.

I'm guessing the transition from love to hate revolves around the realization that you cannot be made to care about the person, so then they come to despise you for not falling for them.

@275,370 (Morbid !Xnp/V/hD1o)
Just adding to this, you should stop talking about yourself in third person. :X

When you live up to your namesake the people will only remember you fondly until you're not even a distant memory. Oh happy days.
