Imagine a game ideally suited for hard drive based gaming systems like the ps3 or xbox360 that revolved around a character that you create in a world modeled after the real world in this world you could do pretty much everything you can do in real life get a job go to school buy a car and a house, bike go boating walk run on city streets sidewalks trails in the middle of the road etc... everything you do in the game either has positive or negative effects for instance stop a robbery and you get awarded honorary officer however get hit by a car while biking across an intersection and you either die or become severely mangled I realize that to make such a game would truly be an undertaking because all of the game is based on real life and because it is a sandbox based game there is no limit to the boundaries or constraints in the game which could mean more then just a few days of game play more like 4 years and a game size of at least 1 to 2 terabytes I could imagine such a game being made in full cooperation and partnership by companies like Rockstar, Maxis and a few others.
I'd just run around naked raping people.

I am currently in the process of developing a MMORTSFPS. Taking place on Earth, players fight for a country and try to conquer the world. The game has three "layers" --- the first layer is combat in the sky, the second layer is combat in the ocean (managing aircraft carriers, delivering goods/supplies), but no underwater combat other than the use of submarines, while the third and final layer is combat on land. Players choose whether they want to participate in the RTS aspect, which includes deciding how resources are used, where supplies are placed and what the main objectives are, while other players may choose to play from a FPS point of view which includes delivering materials, infiltrating enemy lines, and defending their own territories. All angles of warfare are included and depending on how developed one team (basically rising and falling empires) gets, they can use anything from chemical warfare to nuclear warfare. The idea is to offer as much versatile playing styles as possible, while simultaneously contributing to the over-all objective of conquering the world and improving your own military.
