both, but antisemitism is a cudgel used to deflect any kind of critique of israel, which is an ally to the US because of some pretty normal antisemitic reasons (the standard reason for support of israel by the layman is "the jews deserve to live somewhere, just not here", the standard reason for support of israel in political scenarios is that the US needs *any* ally in the middle east, because they suck ass at making allies there because the US deserves nothing less than total dissolution, and the US more or less invented israel for this purpose in the late 40s/early 50s) and some absolutely batshit reasons, like. i am not joking, a significant amount of american support for israel is because a jewish ethnostate called israel is part of the win condition for the rapture. and a lot of people are genuinely betting on the rapture as a get-out-of-consequences-free button.
notably, rapture theology is pretty dubiously canonical to christianity itself. neither catholics nor eastern orthodox christians believe it, and a lot of imagery we associate with the rapture and the beliefs therein (the antichrist, the decline of fair trade, the tribulations) are actually more closely tied to the 1995 series Left Behind, but like. that is a topic for another time.
