I don't understand 'discussing religion' and 'freely and honestly' in the same setting. Those who do the first tend to do so for personal gain, be it for ego or wealth. Thus they are not freely able to live the Kerygma of the Gospel nor to proclaim it. Neither Christ nor his Apostles 'discussed religion' except to clarify for converts the proclamation of the kingdom of God, by word and deed, in service to the truth. Since nobody on the Internet seems to understand this, I'd say the answer to your question is no and that 4chins is a waste of time in general.
