I mean from what I'm seeing I think there's a lot of focus on independence/isolation.
Women for example don't desire much of a romantic relationship and focus more having their own independence in everything(gym, money, sex, etc) and will legit only settle on the legendary "666" man or something close to that.

If anything the dating standards have risen so high that perhaps now the below average straight guy can no longer just pull any random women with subpar effort. so unless by default you legit have lots of money, game, influence/status and of course physically attractive then the average straight man has little to no options.

In fact consider yourself lucky if you happen to have a long lasting gf/wife before the "dating inflation" hit because nowadays if you're single as a man with none of the things i've listed then yeah you could say you get filtered out especially if you're not willing to do any of that work or you're just to far gone.

I don't buy too much into the whole "red-pilled-enroll-in-my-expensive-course-on-how-to-be-an-alpha" mentality due to the fact its just a man selling bullshit to weaker willed men because they know that a weak mind will always seek a shortcut but a strong will can accept that there was never one to begin with. there a few truths here and there but thats about it.
