Yeah he was a jew, I remember that part well enough.
And no, as far as I have ever read or heard anything jews have ever done of any historic note has always been scummy on some level.
The best that can be said of any jew is "And he lived an unimportant life of no notable contribution" but even those jews either benefited from the everyday evils of jewish culture (no interest loans, preferential nepotistic treatment, etc...) or reproduced, bringing more jew-rats into the world
