I'm pretty sure 4chan will come back very soon once their old userbase comes to realize how much 8chan has become as a better alternative because it has more features and the moderation isn't as coordinated to be in favour of jannies' personal tastes and disdain for certain posters they like to target. They want to be "the one, and only" where it's forbidden to speak of other imageboards to further maintain their heckin' internetz cultur supremacy (a bunch of dead memes no one uses anymore). Most controversies on 4chan all took in place of America, but they wish to pretend that it's 4chan itself that made it happen, even THOUGH it's your usual 'murican culture (like mass shootings).
