We use aesthetics and styles to convey a new modern look, better compression quality and cameras, we make up new political concepts and trends, powerful hardware previously accessible to big corporations only made public to consumers, killing old websites via centralized social media apps, pretending that AI is already here (made to appeal investors rather than neuroscientists), acting like the past is irrelevant and has no insightful information, the fear of missing out (FOMO), our era is just a tiny insignificant speck, the mainstream will do whatever they can to catch up and stay "futuristic"
