History used to somewhat repeat itself before movies and television. Now life imitating art is why Republicans are like the adults in the Twilight Zone episode "It's a Good Life", cringing in servile fear to a manchild who doesn't even have the power of Anthony Fremont. I should specify the incumbent political class since voters don't understand what's going on cos of constant distractions. It's no wonder the Democrats can't rally, they don't know how to lead.
