Keep at it and bank some PTO I guess. Maybe next year.

Our boss kept denying time off all summer and locked cashing out of hours - HR stepped in to clean up the mess: weeks off, big checks if you cash out, whatever you want right now (it's nice seeing a clown get raked over the coals, I hate hardass types).
